Overview

Arrow Packaging Solutions designs and makes custom packaging in Indianapolis, from corrugated boxes and foam to wood crates and reusable packaging.

We developed Arrow's WordPress site from a designer's layouts. The site shows the whole product line and Arrow's own videos, and one form handles quotes, samples and tours of its distribution center.

Key aspects

Every product line on one page

The products page covers eleven lines, from corrugated packaging and foam fabrication to waterjet cutting and 3D-printed prototypes. A product menu down the side leads to each one, and each line gets a short summary and a list of what Arrow can do.

A library of Arrow's videos

Arrow films its own work. The Arrow in Motion page plays the series in one player, with every episode listed beside it, from a tour of the high-speed converting line to the Candy Box Challenge.

One form for quotes, samples and tours

The contact form first asks what the visitor needs: a sample or quote, a tour, a general question or archive boxes. Buyers can pick a product type and upload a file with their idea.

Articles, case studies and news

Packaging Perspectives keeps Arrow's articles, case studies and news on one page, with a filter for each type.

Back end approach

The site runs on WordPress. Products, videos and Packaging Perspectives posts each have their own section, so Arrow's team can add a new video or article without code.

Takeaways

Arrow makes many kinds of packaging, and buyers need to find the right one quickly. The products page and the project form are in the menu on every page, and the videos and articles give Arrow's team a place to show what they make.
