Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it and how to reach us about it.
Last updated October 2026
This policy covers www.millennialwebdevelopment.com, the website of Millennial Web Development, 329 W. 18th Street, Unit 413, Chicago, IL 60616. Questions about it go to contact@millennialwebdevelopment.com.
What we collect
When you send the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email, the services you're interested in, your company size, budget and how you found us if you choose to tell us, your current website and your message.
When you request a quote, we receive your name and email, your company, phone number, current website and notes if you add them, and the choices you made for your website.
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you tell us.
When you browse the site, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, roughly where visitors are, the device and browser, and how they arrived. It uses cookies to tell one visit from another. It does not tell us who you are.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to talk about your project and to prepare a quote. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help visitors and which don't, so we can improve the site. We don't sell your details, add you to a mailing list or use them for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Resend delivers contact form messages and quote requests to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any host, its servers record basic request details such as your IP address and browser, and it checks form submissions for bots. To stop spam, the site also limits how many messages one IP address can send in a few minutes.
- Google provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
The contact form and the quote request don't store anything on the website. They go to our email, where we keep them while we work with you.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you, quote and work on your project, and to keep business records. Messages that don't lead to a project are deleted after 24 months. Google Analytics keeps its usage data for the period set in our account.
Cookies
The site uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits. It doesn't use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
While you configure your website, your browser remembers your choices, your company name and your notes on your device, so a refresh doesn't lose them. Your name, email and phone number are never kept there, and nothing reaches us until you press Send. If you press Pause animations in the footer, your browser remembers that too. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email contact@millennialwebdevelopment.com. You can also stop Google Analytics in your browser with Google's opt-out add-on.
Children
The site is for businesses and isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Get in touch.
